Multicultural Festival highlights staff diversity

Tune into taiko drummers while chomping on spicy buffalo drumsticks at the third annual Multicultural Spring Festival on May 22.

Stanford's 5,500 staff will celebrate their diverse backgrounds with food, music and dancing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bechtel International Center. The event is organized by about 30 staff volunteers, says Sally Dickson, director of the Office for Multicultural Development. OMD and university staff groups sponsor the free festival.
